The Oregon Trail Community Foundation is a benevolent community trust organized under the laws of the State of Nebraska for the benefit of the citizens of western Nebraska and Goshen and Platte Counties in eastern Wyoming.
The administration of funds is directed by a board of directors of civic-minded persons of wide acquaintance with the community needs. All directors serve without compensation.
Applications for grants of funds are reviewed by the Grant Committee and then referred to the Board of Directors for final action. These two bodies approve all grants.
