Bronson Memorial Scholarship:
Funds
small scholarships for area high school students to further their study of
music, art, theater, or dance. Funds have been used for summer camps and
programs, such as the Rocky Ridge Music Camp. OTCF Scholarship Committee
determines recipients and amount of awards.

CSI
Scholarship Fund:
Available to graduates of
Scottsbluff High School. Three (3) separate scholarships are awarded each
year; two (2) are for 4-year college or university studies and one (1) is for
2-year technical or vocational training. $1000 per year ($500 per semester) is
paid to the college or university upon proof of registration and/or preceding
semester grades. Minimum GPA and ACT requirements for qualification and annual
renewal. Applications and interviews are conducted by Scottsbluff High School
guidance counseling staff. Recipients and alternates are selected. OTCF
Scholarship Committee reviews SHS selections and verifies that qualifications
are met. The sponsor funds CSI Scholarships for the full 2 or 4 years. The
sponsor asks to be advised of the recipients each year, and may elect to
discontinue the scholarship at any time.

Dill
Scholarship:
Available to Scotts
Bluff County graduate attending Western Nebraska Community College. Family
will select recipient and WNCC will notify OTCF. Applications are available
at WNCC Financial Aid office.

James
Family Trust:
Restricted fund
within OTCF for the benefit of the Scottsbluff Cosmopolitan Club to be used
for their Diabetic Youth Camp. Expenditures are requested by Cosmopolitan Club
and approved by the OTCF Executive Committee.

Lawrence
and Pauline Lemons Scholarship:
Two separate
4-year scholarships will be given annually to Scotts Bluff County graduates
under 30 years of age. Preference is given to lineal descendants of Harry
Wisner and Mabel Wisner and of Guy Lemons and Florence Lemons. Descendants are
not required to be Scotts Bluff County graduates, but must meet all other
criteria for eligibility. OTCF Scholarship Committee determines recipients
with final approval by the Board of Directors.

Lawrence
Lemons Scholarship:
A scholarship of
$500 is available to a graduate of Scottsbluff High School. The application
form is available through the Scottsbluff High School guidance counseling
department.

Lovercheck
Scholarship:
Available to
graduates of Gering High School to be used at a four-year college or
university for the study of art, music, theater, literature, or journalism.
One 4-year scholarship of $1,000 per year ($500/semester) will be paid to the
college or university upon receipt of grades for the preceding semester
Minimum 3.0 GPA required for qualification and annual renewal. Applications
are received and reviewed by GHS guidance and counseling staff. OTCF
Scholarship Committee conducts interviews in April and selects one recipient
and one alternate. Alternate becomes recipient if recipient does not meet
GPA, does not go to college, or selects a major outside of the Lovercheck’s
parameters.

Clara E.
Muehlberger
Scholarship:
Available to
residents from eleven (11) Nebraska Panhandle (Banner, Box Butte, Cheyenne,
Dawes, Deuel, Garden, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff, Sheridan and Sioux) and
Goshen County in Wyoming who are pursuing a undergraduate studies in education
or a health care-related field. Applicants must attend an accredited two or
four-year institution or training facility. The scholarship is available to
high school graduates, non-traditional students, and college upper classmen.
The scholarship provides $1000 ($500 per semester) for up to four years of
undergraduate study. Scholarships are awarded annually. Applicants must be
full-time students as defined by their institution. Recipients must maintain a
grade average required to remain in good standing in the school in which they
are enrolled.
