What is the

The Oregon Trail Community Foundation (OTCF) is one of more than 1,600 community foundations around the world.  OTCF helps connect community leaders, businesses, residents, institutions, and programs to promote the mental, moral, and intellectual well being of and encourage physical improvement for the inhabitants of Nebraska, and of Goshen and Platte Counties, Wyoming, and primarily of Scotts Bluff County.

Individuals, families, businesses and other nonprofits can establish permanent or temporary charitable funds at the Oregon Trail Community Foundation to provide support for the causes and organizations they care about most.

Community foundations are recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofits, so gifts to community foundations are eligible for tax deductions.
