A Legacy of Love for Four- Legged Friends

The Shane Aulick Family donated $15,000 to the Panhandle Humane Society through the Oregon Trail Community Foundation in memory of Shirley Aulick, Shane's mom.

Animals were always an important part of Shirley's life, and supporting the Panhandle Humane Society was a meaningful way for our family to honor her memory while helping local animals in need. We chose the Humane Society because it reflects Shirley's love for animals and her desire to make a positive impact in the community she called home. She regularly supported the organization by donating dog food and other household items the Humane Society could use, and our family continues that tradition today through ongoing donations of pet food and needed supplies.

"Grandma Shirley would have loved knowing this gift helps local animals find loving homes. Animals brought so much joy to her life, and this was a way for our family to honor her legacy while supporting the Panhandle Humane Society and the work they do for our community," says Krystal Palm.
