A Note About Donation Amounts:


Thank you for considering a donation to these funds. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. To donate to the various funds, simply click the donation under the fund you wish to support. You will be asked to fill in the amount you wish to donate and whether it is a one-time donation or a monthly amount. The average amount ranges between $100 and $1,000. Again, thank you for your community support!

Life Change


This fund was established to help local and Panhandle residents learn about diabetes, through education and research.

John Mentgen is raising money to donate to the school backpack programs to help his classmates, local food pantries and our local soup kitchens. Singing for Supper is a 501c3 charity through the OTCF. Please Message John for details and availability.

23 Club strives to help the youth of the community develop their passion for baseball/ softball by providing a safe and fun environment that emphasizes hard work, sportsmanship, and honesty.


This fund was created to receive and distribute funds for bringing the message of Rachel's Challenge to area schools in the Panhandle. To learn more about Rachel's Challenge, visit our page



Japanese Hall

For decades, this building was used for Japanese language classes, dances, festivals, theater productions, sports clubs, and church services.The Friendly Circle Bazaar was held at the building from  the 1950’s through 2016 to help maintain the building. Funds are being raised to restore it, and reopen the doors to show off new exhibits featuring collections from the Japanese community.

Our mission is to create a beautiful Angel of Hope Memorial Park in memory of the precious children that have left this world too soon. Please join our cause!
A special thank you goes out to Megan Hayward, CEO of Trails West Architecture, for her passion and generous donation of time of to this project. The future home of our Angel of Hope Statue will be at Gentry Park in Gering.

Common Grounds Dog Park

Common Grounds Dog Park fund was established for fenced-in, off-leash dog parks in the Scottsbluff/Gering community. A dog park promotes responsible dog ownership, a safe environment for citizens to exercise their dogs, and a common ground that promotes neighbors meeting neighbors and community building.

This fund was established to support charitable and educational purposes, and specifically to receive and distribute funds for Friends of Alzheimers and Dementia.

Balloon Fest

Citizens from across Nebraska and neighboring states have the chance to marvel at the launch of 30-40 hot air balloons in Mitchell. After liftoff, attendees enjoy food booths and vendors, a national music act with a night glow and fun activities for the whole family.

The Splash

This fund was created to allow community members to support the Splash Pool by making donations to the Splash Foundation.

Downtown Scottsbluff Association

The Downtown Scottsbluff Association exists to promote connection and activity in the heart of our community. We bring together business and friendship with the goal of making our citizens feel invested and excited through shared activities.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel. Our mission is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.


Express Fund

This fund was set up to accept donations or grants for the promotion of the Heartland Express. This is a “donor advised” fund and the advisers are the Heartland Express Committee. The funds are used for the expenses incurred for the continuing promotion of the Heartland Express.

18th Street Plaza

This fund was set up to accept donations or grants for the 18th Street Project in Downtown Scottsbluff. This project is on schedule, closing off 18th Street for an outdoor venue area, a new ice rink, covered parking, and more for the Farmer's Market and other local outdoor events. 

Monument Prevention Coalition

This Coalition's mission is to create a community consensus that clearly states that underage alcohol use is illegal, unhealthy, and unacceptable.




The Hemingford Community Foundation is a community catalyst which ignites ideas and inspires a future; specifically to strategize, foster and create legacies for the future of the community of Hemingford.

Alan Hartzler



This fund was set us as a memorial fund in the name of the late Alan Hertzler's of Sidney, NE. This fund will be used to construct a basketball court in the City Park in Sidney, NE in his memory.

Alan had a passion for basketball, baseball, fishing, camping and Husker Football. But most of all, he loved his family and community. We are honored to have Alan's memorial fund at OTCF.

Ever Green


This passive solar greenhouse, with its 30-year old fig tree, and surrounding lot is owned by the City of Gering, Neb. and managed by volunteers. Gardening plots and service opportunities are available to anyone interested in growing flowers and produce.
